MEEO, born in 2004 with the aim to develop and commercialize products and services within the Earth Observation, is a privately-held company devoted to the development and implementation of products and services based on remote sensing of the Earth-Atmosphere system. 
MEEO is able to provide a wide range of services and products “ready” (off the shelf) based on analysis of multispectral, multi-sensor and multi-temporal satellite data for environmental monitoring, land management and agriculture.

The Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) is an Italian research centre dedicated to climate and climate related research, including climate variability, its causes and consequences, carried out through numerical models ranging from Global Earth System to Regional models within the Euro-Mediterranean area.

PEFC Italy is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, founded in 2001 which promotes sustainably managed forests through independent third-party certification. PEFC forest certification provides an assurance mechanism to purchasers of wood and paper products that they are promoting the sustainable management of forests. In Italy 880.623,49 forest hectares are PEFC certified with 1.111 certified Companies. PEFC Italy is part of the world's largest forest certification umbrella organisation with 39 independent national schemes in membership from all over the world, delivering hundreds of millions of tonnes of wood to the market place from over 325 million hectares of certified forests.

The Agro-Forestry Consortium of Comunelli di Ferriere was established in 1999. It comprehends 17 “Comunelli” managing more than 5.000 forest hectares, entirely PEFC certified. Since 2015, the Consortium has been supported by the company “Leroy Merlin Italia” with the aim of neutralising their greenhouse emissions produced by industrial production cycle.
